Magapathy victims typically exhibit noticeable discoloration of the face and throat, with secondary psychosis of heightened vanity, anger, vindictiveness, paranoia and fear of alopecia.

After observing this evidence, and with my extensive medical training, going all the way back to Dr. Kildare (not Richard Chamberlain ably assisted by Raymond Massey but Lew Ayres ably assisted by Lionel Barrymore), I can now venture a diagnosis.
This is in my humble opinion evidence of magapathy, a contagious disease that if left unchecked can infect vast numbers of people who, as a secondary effect, come to believe all manner of nonsense as long as it is spoken by a previously infected person.
After diligent effort across the USA, a cure for magapathy is under development for release in early November, 2024.
