Warning, Will Robinson: The Moon is Watching!
2025
White House - Jun 2 2023 - Both India (2019) and China (2023) have now landed autonomous spacecraft on the "dark side" of the moon.
UPDATE:
White House - Mar 20 2025 - China has also (2023) landed a spacecraft on the far side of the moon. The presence of Indian and Chinese equipment, possibly of military design and intent, on the dark side of the Moon, which is forever turned away from earth, giving them a platform from which they might launch an attack on the USA at any time, is of increasing concern to perceptive, forward-looking military minds like those of Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard and Pres. Donald Tr$mp.
Both of these countries, known collectively in MAGA circles as the "Asian menace," have planted their facilities near the Moon's south pole. The distance between the Indian Chandrayaan-3 landing site (69.37°S, 32.35°E) and the Chinese Chang'e-4 landing site (45.4446°S, 177.5991°E) on the Moon is approximately 1,891.24 kilometers. (Click here for conversion to miles, $15.99 fee applies.)
The President was quick to note that both sites' names begin with "chan...," noting that "many people are saying there is a deep connection between the superficially distinct programs," which are purportedly scientific in nature. He also pointed out that neither nation's announcement of its landings mentioned God.
Tr$mp stated that "the fact they're only about 20 miles apart means they can choose at any time to gang up on America," after which he said that he would propose to Congress legislation to increase the funding for the US Space Force to meet the threat.*
"We can't have them just watching us 24 hours a day while they build rockets for a surprise attack," he stated.**
"AND it gets worse," he emphasized.
"Consider that if an alien power were to hide their bases inside the hollow part of the moon, they could team up with the Chinese or the Indians or both to invade us and they'd have the complete advantage," he argued.***
And the beat goes on...****
* Ed. Note: The actual distance is 1,891 km or 1175 mi. Twenty miles is a lie or at best a falsehood.
** Ed. Note: In fact, it is impossible to see the Earth from the respective sites on the Moon, as they are permanently turned away from the planet. This is because the rotation of the Moon almost precisely matches its revolution around the Earth. In addition, the sites are at considerable distances from the nearest horizon from which the Earth would be visible. Unsurprisingly, no one employed at the White House chose to call the assertion of possible surveillance a falsehood. Using the Haversine formula, the distances from each landing site to the Moon's south pole are:
Chandrayaan-3 landing site (69.37°S, 32.35°E) is approximately 625.57 kilometers from the Moon's south pole.
Chang'e-4 landing site (45.4446°S, 177.5991°E) is approximately 1,351.07 kilometers from the Moon's south pole.
The Haversine formula takes into account the spherical shape of the Moon and its radius of 1,737.4 kilometers to calculate the great-circle distance between the coordinates.
*** Ed. Note: No, the Moon is not hollow. Scientific evidence overwhelmingly supports that the Moon has a solid, differentiated interior structure consisting of a thin crust, an extensive mantle, and a small, dense core.

**** Ed Note: All things considered, the most important point to take away is that there is no "dark" side of the Moon. As the Moon revolves around the Earth, it is alternately dark and light as it rotates in its approximately 28 day cycle, revealing all "sides" half the time. The more accurate term is the "far" side, as one side is permanently turned away from Earth due to the simultaneity of the Moon's rotational and revolutionary periods. This should not be confused with the Gary Larson cartoon strip of the same name.
